Literacy Library Training in September 2018
Thank you for volunteering to help in the Spicewood literacy library. My name is Kelli Broussard and I will be coordinating the volunteer efforts of the literacy library this year. The library is heavily utilized by our teachers (especially in the younger grades) and your help is so appreciated!
For those of you who are new or unfamiliar with the literacy library, it provides books/readers for the teachers to use in the classroom reading groups and at home for extra reading practice.
Our basic role as PTA volunteers in the library is to pull books and re-shelve the returned books for the teachers. It is really easy work and can be done whenever it is convenient for you.
We ask that ALL volunteers attend a training, as we’ve reorganized the Literacy Library to make room for new books! The training should not take more than 15 or 20 minutes. The literacy library is located in the first grade wing by Ms. Hoang's classroom.
